  • WELCOME!

Welcome to our blog. We're Gregory and Dave, a couple of professional San Francisco based photographers who have been shooting together since 2005. In the site, you'll find shoots from our coverage of weddings, events, corporate work, and anything else photo-related. Enjoy!

Sarah & Dan | Engagement Portraits

We had the pleasure of laughing and hiking around Crissy Field and Fort Point with Sarah and Dan. We do mean PLEASURE! The wind was blowing and Sarah was in a beautiful, but not too warm of a dress. Happily she had her own personal heater by the name of Dan.

They have amazing chemistry — in every action you could see how much they savored each other’s company.

We hope you enjoy the images as much as we did in capturing them.

We look forward to photographing their wedding this Fall.

Jaclyn & Matt’s Wedding | Bear Flag Farm

You may have heard of what’s called the “butterfly effect” — the theory that one small incident leads to a sequence of events resulting in some major, major event.

Well, if you ask Jaclyn & Matt about it, specifically how they came to get married this pass weekend, that butterfly has a name: “Uncle Warren”

It was Uncle Warren, who, over ten years ago, built a PC for her niece, Jaclyn, who was beginning her freshman year at UC Davis.

Turns out the PC had some trouble talking to the school’s network in the dorm. Lo and behold, fellow Aggie and floormate Matt happens along, and with several deft clicks, gets everything working. That fateful day turned out to be a seed that sprouted into a long and special courtship that led to their amazing wedding this past weekend.

We were there to cover their special day. We began at the Hyatt Place, where they were getting ready, and we captured their first viewing, followed by shots on campus, before heading out to Bear Flag Farm.

We had a nervous eye to the sky throughout the morning, and despite internet assurances that the weather would be fine, it started pouring right before the ceremony began and through the beginning of the reception. Luckily, Tina and her team at Bear Flag Farm had already planned for inclement weather, having installed tents to accommodate both ceremony and reception. And we worked around Mother Nature.

It turned out beautiful.

Before the evening kicked off, even the sun returned to provide us a dramatic background for some great dusk shots.

At the reception, Jaclyn and Matt were treated to a roast like no other. You can tell by listening to their friends’ stories how closely knit they all were. There was much laughter as well as tears of joy. The perfect evening ended on the dance floor with heartfelt group dancing and hugs.

It was truly a wedding to remember.

Margaret & Jonathan | Engagement Portraits

Dragons, laughter and love.

They are all real!

Recently, we had the fun of exploring the Albany Bulb with Margaret and Jonathan. It rained all morning, threatening to cancel the shoot. However, around noon the sun came out and we had a perfect day.

We wandered around the random pieces of art, through fields and came upon a dragon sculpture. It just seemed to scream “climb me!” and Jonathan and Margaret were only too happy to oblige.

They are best friends, as you can tell, as they laughed and walked around the beautiful and unique Albany Bulb.

We are looking forward to photographing their wedding.
