  • WELCOME!

Welcome to our blog. We're Gregory and Dave, a couple of professional San Francisco based photographers who have been shooting together since 2005. In the site, you'll find shoots from our coverage of weddings, events, corporate work, and anything else photo-related. Enjoy!

Tina & Erik’s Wedding | Garden Center | San Mateo

Why should Tina and Erik’s friend, Tamiko, be considered the ultimate matchmaker?

Well, not only did she introduce them to each other for their first date — years later, she performed the marriage ceremony!

Now, that’s what you call a friend!

It was a most beautiful, sunny pre-Fall day at the Garden Center, a quaint little venue, complete with a gazebo, nestled in the heart of San Mateo.  With the gentle sounds of the water garden as backdrop, shafts of sunlight sneaking in between the boughs of trees, Tina and Erik were married under the watchful eyes of close friends and family.

Afterward, it was off to Espetus, where meals (and meat) fit for a king were served.  The intimate affair — filled with laughter, conversations, and photos — lasted until all stomachs were filled. And then we took off for more photos with stops at the Pulgas Water Temple and the grounds of Stanford University.

Thank you for letting us be part of your day!

Tina!
I was having goose bumps watching the pics.
You look wonderful and so happy.
I wish you and Erik all the best and may you enjoy the same happiness in marriage as I do.
Have a good life together.

Take care,
Maria

Sarah & Dan’s Wedding | Casa de la Vista | Treasure Island

Sarah and Dan have a bit of magic going for them.

It is not just that they met each other and live in the fabled City by the Bay, but it is the friends and family that they are blessed with.

We can’t even think how many countries and states were represented, but it was a celebration of who they are and the amazing people they have touched along the way.

Then they found each other and well, their day was amazing celebration of that. We began at the Hyatt Regency Hotel at the Embacadero for prep shots, before heading out to la Casa de la Vista on Treasure Island for the “main event”.

We were privileged to be a part of it.

Simone’s Family Portraits

There are magical places in the world.

Spirit Hill Farm is one such place.

It is a space to wander with the eyes of a child — a place filled with apple trees, pear trees, strawberry plants, grape vines and so much more.

It has chickens and serenity. We were lucky enough to spend time there with Simone and her family.

They spend a week every summer there where Simone becomes a part of the rhythm of the place.

She is also a force of nature and her smile lights up the place like summer time. Enjoy!

You captured such expressive moments. I laughed at Simone’s raised eyebrows while her parents kissed in the background. Their obvious love for each other is the foundation, and your technical and aesthetic skills are the medium for telling the story.

One word of my own aesthetic: a space between each photo, a little margin, would set each image apart in space.
