Christie & David | Pregnancy Portraits

We first got to know Christie and David at their wedding in 2006 and have since had the pleasure of building a friendship with them.

They are two of the sweetest and nicest people you will ever meet. So when Christie told us that there would soon be a new addition to their family, we knew the world was going to be a little better because of the life that they were going to share with it!

They came over last weekend and as we got caught up, we created some images to document this time.

We couldn’t help but laugh as we went about the studio.

Christie and David have a love and a friendship that is to be admired. We can only hope that the images capture a small bit of that energy!!

Biggest of hugs for them and the little one that we will be meeting in this fall.

Baby Koh

Kay and Brian, whose wedding we photographed, are proud parents to a baby boy by the name of Koh.

He is such a cutie-pie, and it was a pleasure to capture some images of him at home with his “folks”.

We look forward to seeing him grow up in the years to come.

Margaret and Jonathan’s Wedding | Lawrence Hall of Science

Sauropods, theropods and kilts — oh, my!

Margaret and Jonathan planned their day with these key ingredients and then added a measure of lifelong friends, jagermeister (and lots of it), a dash of family, amazing food from Global Gourmet Catering, and strong affinity for science AND science fiction.

Mix well and serve quickly with laughter and dancing, and what you get is their amazing wedding celebration at UC Berkeley’s Lawrence Hall of Science.

We were honored to be a part of their day and will treasure the knife fights, songs, laughter and of course the dinosaurs that we were privileged to witness.
