Welcome to our blog. We're Gregory and Dave, a couple of professional San Francisco based photographers who have been shooting together since 2005. In the site, you'll find shoots from our coverage of weddings, events, corporate work, and anything else photo-related. Enjoy!

Mimi & Steven Engagement Photos | San Francisco

New York + San Francisco by way of Hawaii?

Well, yes, if you’re Mimi and Steve.

He’s from the Big Apple, and she’s a native San Francisco — and they met through a mutual acquaintance who happens to live in Hawaii.

That may sound a wee bit complicated, but their senses of humor certainly are not.

We had a great time walking about fog-bound Golden Gate Park, chatting (and trying to stay warm), getting some great shots, before heading down to the waterfront to see whether it was going to be the Giants or the Yankees.

Take a look for yourself!

(We had a blast and look forward to their wedding this fall.)

Winnie & Richard Engagement Session | San Francisco

Last week we photographed Richard and Winnie engagement portraits.  If Richard looks vaguely familiar, well, that’s because he was a groomsman from the wedding of Jacqueline and Jeff, whom we photographed several years ago.

And Winnie, well, she is the sister of Alice, whose wedding with John we photographed just weeks ago.

Anyway, it was a typical San Francisco summer, which is to say, yeah the city was socked in fog, and buffeted with wind.  We started at the newly remodeled Palace of Fine Arts and actually found a great refuge away from the wind and fog. Sort of. 🙂

Through it all they kept a fantastic sense of humor and we got some great shots.

Then it was off to Crissy Field and a “view” of the bridge.

We had a lot of fun and Richard kept Winnie warm throughout — great job, Richard.

We’ll see them in a few months for their big day.

Lindsay & Joel’s Wedding | San Francisco City Hall

There is something magical about San Francisco City Hall.

We were lucky enough to share Lindsay and Joel’s day there. They flew in from Oklahoma and wanted to explore some of the special places that San Francisco is known for.

After a moving ceremony we wandered around City Hall taking photos. Lindsay and Joel have a great sense of humor and we were privileged to capture a little of it in the ensuing locations.

We began in the Lower Haight, (stopping for a beer at the wonderful Cafe du Soleil where I know that Joel will be back for a Croque Monsieur ) before heading up to its more well-known sister neighborhood, the Haight Ashbury.

Lindsay and Joel took in some of the urban street art before we went to Golden Gate Park and visited the picturesque Stow Lake.

Afterward, we stopped at the now 119-year old pub, the Little Shamrock, for more photos and beer number two. That got them warm enough to face the cold of Ocean Beach, where they ran and even found a crab that wanted to congratulate the newlyweds.

THANK YOU both for letting us capture the story of your day!
