When Meredith contacted us about family portraits and mentioned she was a friend of Pat and Cyndi’s, we knew that she and her family would be a BLAST — fun people tend to attract fun people:)!
With 3 children chock full of personality, we knew that we could create something that told a little of their story. Here are a few of our favorites-enjoy!
This was a classic fairy tale in the Cinderella tradition — and happily, she did not get away 🙂
Alice and John began celebrating their fairy tale day with a tea ceremony for her parents (of course, only after John had completed enough push ups and recited Chinese tongue twisters with a mouthful of grape was he allowed in — awesome job, John!)
After that it was off to the beautiful Nativity Church in Menlo Park for their wedding ceremony.
Sophia and Wei (bridesmaid and groomsman extraordinaire) helped move everyone through and kept us on schedule!
We then zipped across the 84 to Fremont and celebrated with the banquet at the Asian Pearl restaurant (after a small tea ceremony for John’s family).
It was a feast filled with laughter and toasting. John stole the show when he ran out in an Indiana Jones outfit to search for the garter belt.
We wish them a life of laughter and great cheer!

Alice and John have chemistry — and not just the type that makes rockets fly 🙂
We started off at the Ferry Building and wandered by the tasty mushroom cart (recipes, anyone?) We then veered off towards Miette while ogling the tasty sweets.
What is fun about the Ferry Building (aside from all the great food vendors) is that it near such a fantastic urban core. Alice and John romped around the Embarcadero plaza, found a space ship that was apparently about to head to far off distant lands and a giant cupid’s bow and arrow.
What showed through all of this was how well they laugh together. Truly the ingredient to a perfect relationship!
