  • WELCOME!

Welcome to our blog. We're Gregory and Dave, a couple of professional San Francisco based photographers who have been shooting together since 2005. In the site, you'll find shoots from our coverage of weddings, events, corporate work, and anything else photo-related. Enjoy!

LiveBooth with Young Presidents Organization: Golden Gate Chapter

The other evening found us providing our “livebooth” services to the Golden Gate chapter of the Young Presidents Organization, a network of professionals who are owners, executives and leaders of various businesses and companies.

They were having a get-together, and what better way to break the ice than having a “wig party”. Name tags were definitely required!

At our livebooth station, we engaged and interacted with willing subjects, who were eager to cast off their daily personas for a few seconds of pure fun. You can see by the photos the kind of hilarity beyond that which would normally come from a “regular” photobooth.

We certainly look forward to providing this service more often to our clients.

Jennifer & Matt | San Francisco City Hall Wedding | Palace of Fine Arts

It is often so easy to take what we have for granted, and no where is that truer than our view of our own city. When someone comes to visit and remarks on how beautiful, different our city is, it really forces any jaded city dweller to take pause and think, “Yeah, you’re right, we do live in a great city.”

Take Jennifer and Matt, who were visiting from the UK. They wanted to get married in San Francisco, and we were happy to cover their ceremony at City Hall, one of our favorite venues in which to photograph a wedding. The majestic architecture, the elegance and just the grandness of it really takes our breath away each time we cover a wedding there.

Jennifer and Matt were totally adorable, patient, and just plain cute together. After we scurried about inside City Hall, we took to the Civic Center Plaza right outside before heading over to the Palace of Fine Arts.

Newly renovated, this final location turned out to be the perfect place to cap the photo session. We were thrilled to be able to chat about the various places they were visiting, and a little bit about where they were from, etc.

We wish them the best as they finish up their stay here in the states before returning home.

All the best to Jennifer & Matt in their journeys together!

Miriam & Erick Destination Wedding | Turks & Caicos Islands

Weddings are truly magical.

They are even more so when friends are the ones getting married. And did I mention doing so on an island paradise to boot?

We have known Erick for years, having worked on many projects with him on Trapezeworld gigs. Here he was with the greatest catch of his life (and as a flying trapeze artist and rigger, that is saying something) — his amazing partner, Miriam!

The place was the Turks & Caicos Islands (TCI) and the resort was Club Med’s Turkoise. It was a place filled with memories: Erick had worked as a G.O. there for a small portion of his life and had met his best man Graham there. Miriam had vacationed there (otherwise known as a G.M.) and loved it!

Friends and family poured in from all over the world: Hong Kong, Canada, U.S. were the places most represented. They celebrated Miriam and Erick’s life journey. Our part in the story began with the rehearsal dinner, complete with white sand, BBQ, Calypso drums and perfect weather. A very special moment was shared by all when Graham, Alain and Aryan played live music for their friends. It brought everyone together to bask in the warm glow of friendship and song.

The wedding day was gorgeous. We ran around the beach and pier to capture a little of this island paradise. The ceremony was heartfelt with their friend Aryan being the officiant. The dinner was a relaxing moment of speeches, table toasting, cake and dancing. The bouquet toss, though, was a little unusual. They shared it with all the guests of Turkoise in the main theater. Kerry caught the bouquet — well done, Kerry!

The next day Miriam and Erick had a trash the dress session. Miriam, being the “CIA” operative that she is, flew on the flying trapeze, played tennis and climbed a roof top!

Erick juggled and then ran to keep up 🙂 Erick then did leg lifts with Miriam — see, still CIA — and we ended on the beach. Finally, wedding clothes were traded for beach attire. Friends sang, played music and laughed with the setting sun. It could not have been a more picture perfect weekend.

A big hug to everyone!
