Jacqueline and Jeffrey’s Wedding – Palmdale Estates

Jacqueline and Jeffrey could not have picked a more spectacular day for their wedding at the beautiful Palmdale Estates — it was simply gorgeous!

It was so wonderful to see Jeffrey’s sister Jen, whose own wedding we had the pleasure of capturing 4 years ago. Now, it was her brother’s turn. Life is a journey and we are privileged to bear witness to important milestones in peoples lives.

After several fun games (well, fun for the girls) where Jeffrey had to sing and whirl a hula hoop at the same time, as well as quaff down liquid concoctions of mysterious origins, Jeffrey was finally allowed into Jacqueline’s home for the tea ceremony.

After that it was off to Palmdale and a gazebo covered in origami cranes (created by Jacqueline’s friends).

After the ceremony we had a chance to capture the entire group and then it was off to the banquet. A night of joy, celebration and family from many far away places.

But wait, there’s more!

Two days later, we met up again for an After Session, also known as “Trash the Dress” in some circles. Jacqueline had actually purchased a second dress so she wouldn’t worry about her wedding day original.

We headed out to San Francisco’s Baker Beach, and much frolicking ensued. They were such troopers, even going into the cold water — and believe me, it was COLD!

Our best to both of them as they are off on their much deserved honeymoon!

Thanks for dropping by, Aileen.

We had a blast shooting, and Jacqueline and Jeff were simply a pleasure to work with!

Hey Aileen,

Cool that you stopped by, I am so glad that you liked the images. Yes, I am
having a lot of fun doing this. Dave and I shoot almost all the weddings together,
so we really cover a lot of ground.

Wow! These are beautiful! We were guests at the wedding (my husband and Jeff are coworkers) and it was a great time. I wish we had you for our wedding and had these gorgeous memories. I am recommending you for a wedding I am planning for another couple…I know they would be thrilled with the photographs. You guys are true artists.

Hi Sheli,

Thank you so much for the kind words.

We definitely had a lot of fun with Jacqueline and Jeff — and truly, better sports could not be found when the frolicked in the freezing cold water.

[…] looks vaguely familiar, well, that’s because he was a groomsman from the wedding of Jacqueline and Jeff, whom we photographed several years […]
