We are blessed to be part of peoples lives.</p> <p>It is a privilege, pleasure and celebration to be a very small part of the journey. We first met Yodit and Ben several years ago and were lucky enough to be a part of their wedding day.</p> <p>Then we heard the very special news that a little one was on the way (See the <a href="http://www.sweetsmile.com/2008/04/16/yodits-pregnancy-portraits/">pregnancy portraits</a>).</p> <p>Nathaniel was born a little over a year and half ago. He is laughter and bubbles incarnate. He also will do something with music because it moves him whenever he hears it and when he doesn’t he searches for it. In an album, they comprise the visual story connecting the days, months and years as our lives unfold.</p> <p>We were honored when Alex and his daughter Sandra chose us for family portraits. The two of them have a chemistry based on more than genetic connectedness — it is also based on genuine friendship.</p> <p>We hope the images will always bring them smiles and touch on a little of this time even as it quickly passes.</p> <p>A daughter and father will always have a special bond. We captured some classic images that showed the magic of the metamorphosis and then it was time to have fun!</p> <p>From leaping to laughing Katharina and Poushan were up to the moment. We look forward to when you are next in town and we get a chance to work with you on some location shots.</p> <p></p> </article> <article> <h1>Cynthia & Mike’s Holiday Family Portraits</h1> <p>Dave Wong — Tue, 02 Dec 2008 02:11:18 +0000</p> <p>Three and a half years can pass in the blink of an eye.</p> <p>Often, there are some changes in a person’s life in the span of three and a half years, and in Cynthia and Mike’s case, it was <em>very</em> noticeable.</p> <p>You see, we had that pleasure of capturing their wedding in April of 2005.</p> <p>Fast forward to 2008, and we got to meet the WHOLE family. All the kids have great personalities that are very developed.</p> <p>We can see that Cynthia and Mike also have their hands full for the holidays. Our best to the whole family–thanks also for letting us be in on the holiday card!</p> <p><br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> </p> </article> <article> <h1>Baby Otis and Family</h1> <p>Dave Wong — Sat, 24 May 2008 05:17:23 +0000</p> <p>Dave has worked with Maya and TIm on a number of <a title="DooF - Food Backwards" href="http://www.foodbackwards.com/">DooF</a> productions over the years, and he was pleasantly surprised to hear they recently had a new addition.</p> <p>Of course, we had to have them in for a family portrait session.</p> <p>Young Otis was such a cute bundle of baby-ness, quite big, with eyes that seemed to see right into you — although in truth he can’t really see that far yet!</p> <p>In time, as he grows older, we’re sure he’ll look back on these photographs and recognize his budding power to melt away any onlooker’s resistance — he certainly did ours.</p> <p>All we can say is, look out, girls!</p> <p>It was a great family portrait session.
