Michael had proposed to his fiancee Susan at the Japanese Tea Garden in San Mateo’s Central Park, so what better location to take their engagement portraits than to return to the same spot. (We were lucky that day, too — if they had chosen San Francisco, where they live, it would have been cold and foggy!)
Susan and Michael are into anime, and their playfulness and sense of humor showed throughout the shoot, as we visited various areas of the park, made our way past a cafe, and even into Talbot’s — a very cool toy store featuring tons of classic and new toys.
We can’t wait to photograph their wedding later this month!
