Wendy & Louis Engagment Portraits | Sausalito

Surely, one of the best perks of being a photographer is getting to check out all the wonderful nooks and crannies that simply permeate the San Francisco Bay Area. And so it was with great enthusiasm when we took engagement portraits for Wendy and Louis over in Sausalito.
They mentioned how much they enjoyed past trips to the locale, from the rock-lined walkway and shore along Bridgeway to its little shops in the downtown area.
We also went up a quiet side “street”, Excelsior Lane, that took us up to a modern, yet quaint-looking church, including a very unique pair of intertwined trees.
Sausalito’s got that sleepy fishing village kind of feel — although with all the tourists, may be not all the time, but it’s definitely a cool spot for photos. We had a blast, and ended the session with a short jaunt up the Marin Headlands for some sunset shots with the majestic Golden Gate Bridge.

Wendy and Louis, thanks for the awesome suggestion. We look forward to your wedding later this summer!

Hi Dave and Greg! Thank you so much! We had a lot of fun that day even though I was freezing. We had no idea what we were doing so we didn’t expect the pictures to turn out so nice. Can’t wait to see the rest! Thanks again and I look forward to taking more pictures on our wedding day! =)
