Micah and Anni’s Wedding at the Cliff House
We photographed Micah and Anni’s Wedding back in December.
In a blackout.
Yes, that’s right. It was at San Francisco’s newly-renovated Cliff House — but the entire neighborhood was without power for most of the day and into the evening.
The good news was we had the entire Cliff House to ourselves.
The bad news…it was dark!
In any case, the Cliff House staff, led by Masoud, were more than capable, setting up the Terrace Room and lighting things with candles and some portable lamps.

We knew about the blackout and got there early to try to catch the last light of the day.
Taking photos outside was a bit challenging, as the weather was wild and windy all day.
The power did come back on during the Reception:
