Do You Believe in Car-Ma?
I’m not talking about karma, but rather “Car”-ma, which is what I call the driving “force”.
Let me articulate:
Ever go out driving and have one person cut you off. Then blocks later, it happens again? Furthermore, stoplights seem to always turn red as you approach, thus slowing you down farther? And when you finally make it onto the freeway, it’s bumper to bumper traffic (and it’s 11:30 am)?
That’s bad “car-ma”, my friend.
You can react by getting all worked up, uttering a few select words, gesturing wildly. They won’t do any good cause you’re out of “phase” with the Driving Force, Luke.
Take a few deep breaths, maybe pull over (safely) and stretch a bit. If you’re stuck on the freeway, maybe switch radio stations, put on a favorite song, or call your honey (with the hands-free headset, of course).
On the other hand, ever experience those times when a driver waves you to cross, lights are turning green for you, and parking spots magically appear for you (in the heart of San Francisco!).
That’s good Car-ma. Enjoy it.
Hmmm…maybe it is karma.
